MBB LMS was designed not as a single course plugin, but as a complete operating platform for academies, language schools, training providers and education businesses. It connects academy administration with learning workflows, communication, commerce, reporting, AI modules and native mobile applications in one architecture.
Starting Point & Challenge
Many education providers rely on a combination of an LMS, video-conferencing software, attendance spreadsheets, separate messaging channels, manually generated certificates, external payment workflows and mobile workarounds. This creates duplicated data, fragmented user journeys and operational blind spots.
The core challenge was to bring these processes into one platform without creating an inflexible monolith. Owner, Super Admin, Admin, Teacher, Support and Student roles each require clearly separated interfaces, permissions and workflows.

Platform Architecture
The platform is divided into clear functional domains. Academy administration, teacher workflows and the learner experience use shared core data while exposing role-specific views and actions. Mobile clients communicate through a dedicated API layer.
The architecture supports multi-academy operation, feature flags, package and add-on configurations, and the ability to enable or hide functionality per academy or course.
Academy, User & Role Management
The administrative core manages academies, users, roles, permissions, courses and enrollments. Roles are not merely visual filters: they determine which data and actions are accessible across the system.

Attendance management models teaching days, attendance states and enrollment periods. Teachers can record attendance directly in course workflows, while administrative views and exports support operational reporting.

Certificates & Verification
Certificates can be generated from templates and enhanced with QR-based verification, creating both a professional document and a digitally verifiable proof of completion.
Payments, Vouchers & Commerce
For commercial academies, the platform includes workflows for paid offers, vouchers, stored-value balances and payment-related administration. Refund logic can restore voucher balance according to defined business rules.
AI Modules
AI is embedded as an optional capability inside concrete learning workflows rather than exposed as a generic chatbot.

Flashcards & Microlearning
The flashcard module organizes learning material through books, units, lessons and cards. Learners can flip cards, type answers and use quiz and analytics functions to support repeated practice. The module can be activated independently from the core LMS.
Native Android & iOS Apps
The student experience was not reduced to a mobile browser. Native Flutter applications for Android and iOS consume the platform API and support central workflows such as authentication, community, calendar, media, homework, quizzes, AI Tutor and flashcards.

Integrations & Automation
Recurring operations are handled through scheduled jobs and integrations. These include backups, payment-expiry processing, reminders, newsletter campaigns, push queues and worker jobs. Zoom meetings can be created through an API integration while manual meeting links remain supported.
Security, Data Isolation & Operations
A multi-academy SaaS product must consistently restrict data access. Role- and academy-aware authorization, secure backend endpoints and controlled administrative actions were therefore treated as architectural concerns from the beginning.
